I had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel. the location was absolutely wonderful. Situated at the top of a steep hill, it offered breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The Duke Of Wellington in Matlock was a fantastic find! The staff were amazing and the location couldn't have been better. The hostess was the best and the food at the restaurant was top-notch. We loved the variety of choices at the bar, and the accommodation was charming. The stable conversions at the rear of the pub were really cool and gave us a sense of independence with our own front door. The parking was also incredibly convenient. We were able to take a short walk into town, although it was quite steep on the return. we had a great experience and would definitely return.

We felt right at home at the Duke Of Wellington and had no complaints whatsoever.
