The room and bathroom were spotless, with comfortable beds and plenty of towels. We had a wonderful breakfast served by a friendly and helpful owner. Despite a minor issue with the WiFi, our stay at Dumfries Villa was enjoyable and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel.

Colin, the owner, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided helpful tips for exploring the area. The charming dining room and delicious breakfast made for a perfect start to each day. We even had the opportunity to hold a special ceremony in the lovely garden. The history and heritage of the building added an extra layer of charm to our stay. Colin is a wonderful host, friendly and accommodating, and the staff made us feel truly valued. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

I had the pleasure of staying at a charming accommodation in Dumfries, centrally located just minutes away from the town center. The spacious and bright rooms were adorned with lovely decor, although a fresh coat of paint and new curtains would have enhanced the ambiance. Despite these minor details, the cleanliness of the bathroom, towels, beds, and dining room was impeccable.
