our stay in dunster was absolutely delightful! this time, we decided to stay at a charming castle hotel that truly exceeded our expectations. the location was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. from accommodating our little dog to helping us with our takeaway and shopping, their hospitality was unmatched. we also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in their cozy dining room. it was a truly memorable and relaxing holiday.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, exploring the beautiful coast and country nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. It was a great perk to have private parking in such a popular town. The hotel's location in the village centre was perfect for exploring, with lovely walks and the castle to visit. The owners were amazing hosts, making me feel welcome, and the food in the hotel's restaurant was always good. I also enjoyed the gin bar and the top-quality draft beer. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed the friendly staff and delicious food during my weekend stay in this charming hotel. the room was quite spacious, and the beautiful décor added to the elegance of the overall ambiance. the breakfast buffet was a wonderful touch, offering a wide selection of juices, fruit, cereals, and yogurt, as well as a menu for cooked breakfast options.

Check-in was slightly disorganized, and we had to wait while a staff member served drinks. there were a few cobwebs in the lights of our room, which was somewhat off-putting.

During my stay, I was originally allocated a room in the converted outhouse. However, I immediately noticed a strong smell of damp that lingered throughout the night and became even more noticeable the next morning.

The Wi-Fi and mobile signal in the village itself were almost non-existent, but this seemed to be a common issue in the area and not specifically the hotel's fault. It was actually a bit of a blessing for those seeking solitude from constant online connectivity.
