The breakfast offers a good variety of well-cooked food, and there are facilities like a pool and sauna for guests to enjoy. the hotel provides a comfortable stay in a central location.

One downside is that some rooms on lower floors may experience noise from the live band playing in the pub downstairs, which could be an issue for those seeking a peaceful night's sleep.

I had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel in Durham. The location couldn't have been better, as it was right in the centre of the town close to everything. I loved being able to explore Durham, especially at night, and the view of the Castle and Cathedral from my window was breathtaking. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, from reception to the room cleaners. They provided excellent service and were very friendly, especially one particular staff member named Hazel who was lovely to my two little boys. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with all the necessary amenities like heating, air conditioning, and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel also offered great additional services like room service, car hire, and dry cleaning.

Although the hotel was amazing overall, I did have a minor issue with the room allocation. The staff refused my request to have our two rooms close to each other, and instead, my parents were given a room that was quite far away from reception on the third floor.

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a great time. The location is perfect, very close to everything and even has a private area which was perfect for us. The service was amazing, especially the room service. I also really enjoyed the terrace and the in-room safe.

Being able to walk into town for sightseeing, shopping, and dining was amazing. The staff at this hotel went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Stuart on reception was brilliant and very helpful, and the staff in the bar/restaurant, Phoebe, Jade, Pete. They were all locals and very friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.

The breakfast buffet had a wide range of food options to choose from, including hot and cold items. the best part was the location of the hotel, as it was central to all the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city.

Our room was not spacious enough for a two-night stay, and we only had one chair to sit on, making it hard to relax in the room. the outlook from our room was not great, with construction work going on nearby.
