The hotel had some lovely decorative features and beautiful furniture which added to the overall character of the place. Its location was ideal as it was close to many shops and popular restaurants. the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view of the city.

The hotel was being renovated and we had to deal with a lot of noise which disrupted our much-anticipated Christmas vacation. the renovations were haphazard, with ladders and tools left in the breakfast area, which was unsettling.

We were greeted by the owner upon arrival, who was extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived early for a funeral and they allowed us to check in early so we could quickly get changed. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. We had a fantastic night's sleep and will definitely be returning to this hotel. I highly recommend it.

As women travelling alone, we felt incredibly safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The room was beautifully furnished, complete with a luxurious spa bath and a cozy 4 poster bed. The breakfast spread consisted of fresh fruit, pastries, and other delicious treats, a perfect way to start the day.

We stayed in a lovely ground floor 'budget' room at this place, which was clean and smart with the best shower we've ever used. The owners were sociable but not intrusive, and the breakfast in the smart dining room was very good. The venue is centrally located and in a peaceful street, making it the perfect base to explore all the sights. There's also a beautiful garden at the back where you can enjoy a drink on a summer's evening. top hospitality and a hidden gem.
