We had a fantastic time at this beautiful hotel by the sea. The location was perfect, with a stunning view of the bay and the island. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with check-in, enquiries, and meal service. Our room was comfortable and clean, with a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious and energizing, preparing us for a day of exploring. The hotel felt like a fairytale, with its charm and picturesque setting.

The price was a bit high for what was offered.

One of the best features of this hotel is its stunning views in all directions. Whether it's over the water and hills or just the quant features of the surroundings, the location is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are warm and beautifully decorated in a Victorian style, and the bathroom and shower facilities are excellent, with complimentary shampoos and moisturizers available for guests. The staff provides great service and the breakfast offers some interesting Scottish options.

That the room got a bit cold quickly due to the old building and the draft caused by the storm. However, the hotel provided extra heating, so overall it wasn't a major issue.

The attention to detail in the beautifully decorated Victorian-style rooms, complete with complimentary toiletries, creates a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. The views of the lighthouse and the Loch are breathtaking, especially from rooms with a bathtub, adding to the overall charm. The staff provides gracious service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. The breakfast offers a variety of options, including interesting Scottish dishes, allowing guests to start their day with a taste of local flavors.

All aspects of our stay were satisfactory.

The value for money at Eilean Iarmain was excellent, with a cozy and comfortable room that made us feel right at home. The location was simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the mountains and sea, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

The only improvement I could suggest for the morning meal would be to offer more gluten-free options for guests with dietary restrictions.

The hotel provided free breakfast and Wi-Fi, which was a great plus for our business trip. the location was convenient as it was only 10-15 minutes away from the ferry. the sea views were breathtaking and added to the charm of the place.

The food didn't meet our expectations. the mushroom pasta was watery and the venison burger wasn't cooked thoroughly.

We had an incredible time at Eilean Iarmain! the onsite restaurant and bar added to the amazing atmosphere. We were lucky to experience a gig in the bar, which was filled with locals and had a cozy, non-touristy feel. the lounge with fireplaces made us feel right at home. Our room had delightful bay views, and the bed and sheets were extremely comfortable. the attention to detail was impressive, with Victorian-style decor and excellent bathroom facilities. the restaurant had a tasteful and atmospheric ambiance, and the food was excellent. the service was top-notch, and we felt well taken care of. the hotel truly fulfilled our friend's dream of a perfect Highland hotel!

the perfect spot for a remote and romantic getaway, Eilean Iarmain exceeded all expectations. Breathtaking views, warm and welcoming staff, spacious and cozy rooms, and delicious food made for an unforgettable stay. The art gallery featuring Jim Woodman's paintings was an added bonus, truly worth the price of the rooms. A highly recommended base for exploring Skye.
