The comfortable room had plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits, with a friendly owner who allowed early parking and late check-in. The location was excellent, with a quirky charm due to the slightly uneven floors. Although no breakfast was offered, the convenient car park and welcoming staff made for a delightful stay.

Dig into Ellesmere's dining scene! the local eats were a vibe, with spots like the Vault and Shropshire Fish Bar serving up mouthwatering dishes. the hotel had its quirks, like the need for a spruce-up, but the friendly staff and comfy rooms made up for it. Heating hiccups were swiftly sorted out, ensuring a cozy stay. Felt like a local with charming eateries and a vibrant atmosphere. .

A hidden gem in a charming town. The newly opened restaurant inside the hotel impressed me with its modern decor and delicious dishes. The staff were friendly and attentive. The spacious and beautifully designed rooms provided a comfortable stay. Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the lack of breakfast included and some noise from the pub below, I still highly recommend this hotel. it was a delightful experience.

The Sunday carvery at the hotel's Royal Oak restaurant was excellent with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and sauces. the ham was particularly delicious. the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating, providing warm and welcoming service. - the hotel was conveniently located near a free car park, making it easy to explore the nearby area.

The pricing of drinks at the hotel's bar, such as the Moretti beer, was a bit expensive. Although the overall dining experience was pleasant, there were slight issues with the cooking side of the meals, particularly with the chips and the unpeeled and dry potatoes.

Stopped off on the way back from the beautiful Welsh countryside. the location in this lovely village is excellent with plenty of dining options nearby. the hosts and staff were very friendly and helpful. the rooms were clean, tidy, and spacious, with a nice bathroom and a good shower. Free parking was available and there was a good selection of beers at the hotel. there was an excellent cafe nearby where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
