The Ennerdale Country House Hotel is a gem with fabulous gardens and a lovely old house. The rooms are clean, spacious, and felt very safe. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful. The hotel offers a great value for money and is dog-friendly with lots of outdoor space for the furry companions to run around. The Sunday night dinner and bed & breakfast deal is an amazing steal, with a surprisingly good dinner menu including options like salmon, steak, lamb shank, sea bass. The breakfast at the hotel is delicious with good quality food. Families with two small kids will find the hotel accommodating and enjoyable.

The staff provides friendly and attentive service, and the breakfast is delicious, especially the full English option. it offers good value for money and is a great base for exploring the area.

I stayed at Ennerdale Country House Hotel for 2 nights to hike Scafell Pike. Room 31 had a balcony and double doors opening to a beautiful garden. The wifi was excellent and allowed me to stream the Monaco GP. The staff were all locals, providing great service. The room had exposed beams and a corner jacuzzi bath. The bed was comfy, the room was clean, and breakfast in bed was complimentary. The on-site restaurant offered delicious food and reasonable prices. a fantastic and tranquil experience.

We were pleasantly surprised by the unexpected glamour of The Ennerdale Country House Hotel. The "old English" style of our room added a unique charm to our stay. The room was well equipped and clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The beautiful gardens outside were a lovely addition to the atmosphere. Despite a few minor drawbacks like the bathroom needing some attention and the room being a bit chilly due to old windows, the heating system did its job effectively. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options.

Another great feature was the stylish decor of the rooms, which were clean upon arrival and offered comfortable bedding.

The location was perfect for me as I wanted to explore the Lake District and go for walks, and the hotel was conveniently situated near Ennerdale water. The breakfast each morning was delightful, with a variety of options including black pudding, yoghurts, and hollandaise sauce. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel.
