The hotel is located in a small village, tucked away in its own grounds. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, even towards our large dogs. the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, and we enjoyed the afternoon tea provided.

The room was quite cold in the evenings, despite the portable radiator provided. the cleanliness of the room was not up to par, with dust under the furniture and a stain on the wall.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a lovely rural area just outside Alnwick. The location was perfect for exploring the Northumberland coast and small towns. The staff were easy going, helpful, and very friendly. The hotel facilities were beautiful, and the accommodations were lovely and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal there. I had a great experience and would definitely visit again.

The rooms have comfortable beds and the bathrooms are well-maintained. Additionally, the breakfast is delicious and there is a garden area out back to relax in.

The dining room can feel crowded due to the small space and close tables.

As backpackers, we enjoyed the impeccable service and luxurious atmosphere of Eshott Hall. The stunning grounds and beautiful location made us feel immediately at home. We loved relaxing in the walled garden, sipping coffee from the cafetière, and listening to the endless birdsong. The individually cooked and served breakfasts were a rare treat, unlike the help yourself setup at chain hotels. The staff were brilliant, from the friendly reception to the attentive restaurant staff. a truly amazing experience.

The hotel is located in a very quiet and beautiful landscape which creates a peaceful atmosphere. the staff is very friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel at home during our New Year's stay. the hotel offers a great selection of dishes for breakfast and dinner, and the food was delicious.

The hotel staff quickly prepared for the issue and created an even more special atmosphere with candles, fires, and a dark sky.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this stunning hall. the setting was absolutely gorgeous, with well-maintained grounds and a tranquil atmosphere. the feeling of luxury was evident in every aspect, from the beautiful location to the spacious bathroom with boiling water and Molton Brown toiletries. the staff were lovely and provided friendly and helpful service throughout. the breakfast was delicious, and the food in general was excellent, beautifully prepared and presented. I felt like a valued friend and not just a guest during my stay. Highly recommended!

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the beautiful grounds for leisurely walks and the opportunity to play tennis on sunny days. The hotel's traditional vintage decor added a charming touch to our stay. The spacious room with a comfortable bed and thoughtful amenities, including a good supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and complimentary water, exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptional, providing attentive service during dinner and ensuring our needs were met.

As young people, we absolutely loved the amazing staff, beautiful gardens, and spacious rooms. The atmosphere was relaxed, making it perfect for walks and enjoying drinks outside. The bathroom was luxurious with a large shower and fluffy towels. Dinner and breakfast were both top-notch, and the staff, especially Helen, were fantastic. The location was lovely, and the Australian barman and receptionist were helpful and friendly.

There were some inconsistencies with the available drinks and the staff could benefit from some training in that area. we had planned to enjoy the surrounding areas but ended up needing somewhere to eat due to the kitchen not being in service during our stay.

There were some minor maintenance issues, such as cracks in the walls and carpets needing a deep clean. the staff were inconsistent with drink availability and amenities weren't automatically replaced, causing us to run out mid-stay.

Although we encountered one rude staff member, the rest of the staff were exceptional and made up for it. We would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family for a relaxing and luxurious stay.
