We particularly appreciated being given a ground floor room, which made it easily accessible. The hotel facilities were lovely, and the cleanliness of the room was impeccable. Parking was convenient with off-street spaces available. The location couldn't have been better as it was very close to the seafront and just a short walk away from the stunning St Bees beach. Transportation was also convenient, with regular train service and a town taxi available. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Additionally, the location of this hotel is perfect - close to two great eateries and a charming pub for a delicious dinner. Lastly, the staff provided exceptional service, from their friendly and helpful demeanor to their flexibility with check-in and check-out times.

It was also just a ½ mile walk to the beach. the room itself was comfortable and had good en suite facilities. I appreciated that there was a kettle provided for making hot drinks.

The room had a musty smell, possibly due to being an old building. I was also disappointed that there was no hairdryer or toiletries in the room, despite these being listed as facilities.

There was nothing I didn't like.

This charming hotel is located in a great spot, just a stone's throw away from a lovely pub where you can enjoy a delicious dinner in the rear garden. It is also very close to the seafront, offering beautiful views and easy access to everything Saint Bees has to offer. The rooms are equipped with modern facilities such as a TV, microwave, kettle, and fridge. The beds are comfortable and the showers are excellent.

One guest mentioned fluctuating water temperature in the shower, but it didn't seem to be a major issue.

We got great value for our money at Fairladies Barn Guest House. The room was spacious, warm, and cosy, with fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. The location was perfect, with beautiful walks along the beach and a friendly pub opposite. The staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed, including extra tea and milk.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was a wider continental selection on the menu.
