Fairlight Guest House was a perfect stay - comfortable, clean, and quiet. the mountain views and birdsong in the morning were delightful. the helpful staff provided drinking water in the room, and the window box with flowers added a lovely touch. the excellent breakfast had plenty of choice and generous portions. the location was ideal for attending a nearby wedding and for easy access to Ullswater steamer. Nemia, the host, was warm and friendly. We will definitely return to Fairlight Guest House.

The location of this hotel is wonderful for exploring the beautiful Ullswater. Whether you want to climb a Wainwright or hop on a steamer, this hotel is in the village of Glenridding and only a few minutes walk from Lake Ullswater. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and attentive. They couldn't do enough for us during our stay. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and were always there to help if we needed anything. The basic amenities in our room were a very nice touch. The room itself was very comfortable and warm, and the attention to detail was evident. We especially liked the breakfast room and adjoining café, where we enjoyed a delicious meal in the morning.

All was perfect, nothing to complain about.
