I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Charlton Hall Estate in a beautifully decorated Pole Barn room. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings was impressive, and I enjoyed every aspect of the room. The main house, where I had breakfast, drinks, and snacks. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location of the estate, nestled in the countryside, was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions such as Alnwick and Bamburgh castles. A truly memorable stay.

There were a few drawbacks. The soundproofing in the room was poor, as we could hear noises from adjacent rooms and were even woken up by furniture being moved.

As for breakfast items, the only improvement that could be made is ensuring prompt refills of tea and coffee, as well as enough tables and cutlery for all guests.

Check-in at 2am was a breeze, and the room I stayed in was absolutely spectacular. The Dyson fan in the corner was a lifesaver on the hot night, and the huge bath was a luxurious touch. The room had a great TV on the wall and I couldn't fault anything about it. The breakfast in the morning was also fantastic, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I definitely hope to return in the near future.
