As youngsters, we absolutely loved the executive double room upgrade and the amazing Chateaubriand dinner and exquisite wine. The spa facilities were relaxing, and the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The location was ideal, with the town and Helmsley wall garden just a short walk away. The hotel's dog-friendly policy was a big plus, and the prices at the bar were reasonable.

The location was excellent, allowing me to take a nice walk into town where I found a great selection of independently run stores. The hotel facilities were fantastic, providing me with all the luxuries I needed to unwind. The staff were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their faces. The breakfast served in the restaurant was well presented and tasted great.

our recent stay in helmsley was absolutely delightful. everything at the hotel exceeded our expectations - from the spacious room with its balcony overlooking the spa, to the large bathroom and cozy living room. the staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant was cooked to perfection. we particularly enjoyed the spa and pool, especially with the sunny weather. helmsley itself is a charming village that we will definitely visit again.

Had an amazing romantic escape! Rooms were cozy and there was a beautiful garden view. the spa was amazing with a lot of wonderful treatments available. the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. the location was ideal, with local attractions within walking distance.

The outdoor space could have been better equipped to deal with the cooler weather. the indoor pool was relatively small and the steam room needed more attention.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout my visit. the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the village. I had access to the spa facilities which were well-maintained and enjoyable. Although the hot tub was outside and not covered, it would be fantastic in the summer. the restaurant and bar area were excellent, with a cozy fire in the bar and a beautifully presented restaurant. the evening meal was amazing, and breakfast the next morning was equally as good. the room I stayed in was well laid out and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the pool. it was a great hotel in a great village.
