This place is dog friendly and that's super hard to find! The lodge was mind-blowingly spacious, way bigger than any lodge I've stayed in before. It had this cosy and traditional vibe that just made me feel at home. The garden around the lodge was jaw-droppingly beautiful and I loved looking out of the window. The area was so peaceful and the beds were unbelievably comfy. They gave us brochures for walking routes, which was really helpful. The location was absolutely incredible, with stunning views and that isolated feeling at night that was so relaxing. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and there was plenty of space for the 5 of us. We even had the option to use a small summerhouse with a DVD player and an amazing selection of movies. Keith & Mel were the best hosts ever, making us feel at home with Christmas lights and leaving fresh milk, tea & coffee, and delicious shortbread. The location was just perfect, giving us that rural feel but only a few minutes' drive from Blairgowrie. And let me tell you, the WiFi was top-notch! It didn't disappoint us students who needed good broadband. Inside the property was spacious, clean, and cosy, and the outside was just as wonderful. The views were stunning and there was plenty of space to relax in the sun. It's also a smashing location to explore surrounding areas. We had an amazing time in Cairngorms National Park, which was only 30 minutes away. Mel & Keith were so welcoming and friendly, we would definitely come back here again and again and again.

Fir Tree Lodge was spacious, clean, and cozy, with all the amenities we needed. the owners, Mel and Keith, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. We were delighted by the thoughtful touches like fresh milk, tea, coffee, and biscuits provided for us. the location was perfect, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We were able to explore the surrounding areas easily, including the stunning hills of the Cairngorms National Park just a short drive away. We would definitely return for another relaxing and enjoyable getaway.
