We had the most amazing romantic escape in the heart of the countryside. The room was beautifully appointed with a super comfortable bed and plenty of natural light, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The facilities were fantastic, with a mini fridge and coffee machine that made our mornings extra special. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and convenience stores and just a short walk to some incredible hiking trails.

Although our overall experience was fantastic, there were a few minor inconveniences. The room was a bit chilly at first and we had to request heating, but once that was sorted, it was cozy and warm.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely guesthouse in the Castleton area. the building was beautiful and the room was spacious with a stunning view. the host, Alan, was very considerate and gave great recommendations for exploring the Peak District. the room had all the amenities I needed, including a coffee maker, fridge with milk and water, and a comfortable sofa. the bathroom was huge and had a nice walk-in shower. it felt like a home away from home.

the location was amazing, right in the middle of this beautiful little village. There were plenty of nice walks, pubs, and restaurants nearby. the owners were some of the friendliest people we have ever met. They were so helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They even collected us from the train station and dropped us off again. the room was absolutely gorgeous, with a huge bed, a lovely bathroom, and great views of Loose Hill and Mam Tor. We also appreciated the little extra touches, like the birthday card and yummy fudge for my friend's birthday. We can't wait to return next year.

I had a fantastic stay at this guesthouse. The room was spacious and had an abundance of natural light, providing stunning views of the beautiful countryside. The bed was super comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's sleep. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a mini fridge, coffee machine , TV, and a wonderful shower room. The location was ideal, situated right at the entrance of the city and within walking distance of restaurants, a convenience store, and hiking trails. The staff provided a warm and friendly welcome, making me feel right at home.

There was nothing I didn't like.

the room was clean, spacious, and had excellent facilities, including a coffee machine that was a pleasant surprise. the hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They even left a birthday card and delicious fudge for my friend. the location was also ideal, as it was walking distance to the popular Mam Tor hike. I highly recommend this guesthouse and plan to return next year.

The owners, Alan and Cassandra, were incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. They even went above and beyond by drying our wet boots and providing us with an airer for our clothes. the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable extra-large bed and a decent-sized bathroom. We also enjoyed the beautiful morning view of Mam Tor from our room, while sipping our tea. the little touches and the warm welcome from Alan and Cassandra made our stay truly memorable. We will definitely be returning!

I had an amazing stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, allowing me to explore the beautiful surroundings and even get engaged at Mam Tor. The room was spotlessly clean and I received a friendly welcome upon arrival. The hotel went above and beyond by providing a tower fan during the heatwave and even supplying shampoo in the shower. All the little touches were thought of, making it great value for money. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the hotel had excellent facilities such as a helpful guide for local walks.
