We had an amazing stay at the Fox and Hounds in Starbotton. The value for money was outstanding, with fresh and clean rooms that exceeded our expectations. The location was picturesque, surrounded by beautiful stone barns and offering plenty of walking opportunities. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

The morning meal could have been improved with the addition of a hairdryer in the room, but this minor inconvenience did not affect our overall experience.

I recently stayed at a cosy inn in the heart of the dales and had a fantastic experience at Fox and Hounds. The rooms were well appointed, the food was exceptional , and the outside seating area offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape. After a long day of walking, the inside bar with its real fire was the perfect place to unwind. The friendly and welcoming staff added to the charm of this wonderful place. It's a must-stay location for anyone who enjoys good beer, great food, and a warm atmosphere.

We had the best stay at this lovely inn. The hotel facilities were excellent with clean and recently renovated rooms. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location, nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Upper Wharfedale, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The pub in the evening was cozy and inviting, with roaring fireplaces and old settles adding to the charm.

We had such a warm and friendly welcome from the staff who were always willing to help us out. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hot showers were perfect after our long walks in the beautiful countryside. the food was absolutely outstanding, especially the steak and ale pies which were to die for! We had them both nights of our stay and they did not disappoint. the open log fire created a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. the location of the inn was also fantastic, surrounded by stunning scenery in the heart of the dales.

Everything from the staff to the food to the atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. We cannot wait to come back and bring some friends along to experience this hidden gem.
