Luxurious amenities fulfilled my desires for an exclusive stay. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. the room decor was quirky, yet elegant, with exclusive advantages such as a sun terrace and garden area. the restaurant exceeded my expectations with exceptional food, in-room breakfast, and special diet menus. I particularly enjoyed the bar/lounge area with its extensive selection of drinks. I felt privileged to have access to the private facilities, which were spotlessly clean. the venue is perfectly positioned, offering superb location advantages for exploring the local area.

Noisy from the bar area.

Stayed here for a weekend and it was fantastic. the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds and good tea and coffee facilities. the food was amazing, with a great variety and all freshly prepared. the location is perfect for exploring nearby towns and wonderful scenery. Staff were welcoming and provided great service. the best part was the value for money, everything was reasonably priced.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were impressive. The ample car park space made parking hassle-free. The location was ideal, as it was close to the beautiful river and within walking distance to local attractions. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

We just got back from a romantic weekend getaway and it was fantastic! the rooms were clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. the food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. the best part was the excellent service, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. the location was also perfect, close to shops and attractions.

That the bed in our room was a bit small, which made our sleep less comfortable. However, everything else about the room was great, with plenty of natural light and a comfortable atmosphere.

Stiff bathroom door.

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, with plenty of car park space and close to local attractions, such as the black mountains. The rooms are nicely furnished, clean, and come with a lovely en suite bathroom. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The breakfast is included and there are nice facilities available like a bar and restaurant. it's a great place to stay and enjoy the surrounding area.

The bar may not always be open until 11pm, which could be disappointing for some guests.

We had a fantastic stay at a beautiful hotel which has been renovated to a high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The parking was excellent and the hotel's location was perfect for visits to Hay-on-Wye, famous for its bookshops, and other nearby villages.

Inconsistent training with staff.

As foreign tourists, we loved the beautiful village of Glasbury and its country walks near the hotel. The refurbished hotel impressed us with its attention to detail and high standards in every aspect. The friendly staff made us feel welcomed and not alone during our stay. The hotel's cleanliness and the delicious food served by attentive staff were outstanding. We highly recommend Foyles to everyone and can't wait to visit again.
