I had a fantastic stay at Carlton House in Scarborough. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the station and close to the town and promenade with stunning bay views. The check-in process was smooth with the keypad entry system. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The host, Jane-Ann, provided excellent customer care, keeping in touch via SMS and offering flexibility with check-in and check-out times. She was very knowledgeable about the area, providing helpful information and a comprehensive guide to nearby amenities. The room was spacious and clean, with high-quality bedding and nice toiletries. The WiFi worked well, and the breakfast was delicious with a choice of having it downstairs or in the room. a wonderful experience.

Our stay at Carlton House was exceptional value for money, with newly updated rooms that were immaculately clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and offering stunning views from the promenade. The staff, although 'invisible', were fantastic with their prompt and friendly communication.

The morning meal could have been improved with the addition of a step-out mat in the bathroom and an extra shelf or towel rack near the shower cubicle.

For the price we paid, we got incredible value with spacious and clean rooms, complete with a full-sized fridge and soft towels. The location was perfect, being close to everything yet tucked away on a quiet street. The staff, led by Bilyana, were warm, welcoming, and accommodating to both us and our furry friend. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is very easy to walk into the town centre or the beach & harbour. It is situated in a nice quiet area, away from the noise of the city. there are convenient buses into the town centre. The rooms are clean and well-presented, and the bathrooms are modern with great hot water and showers. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is also the provision of a fridge in the room, which is a bonus.

The breakfast is quite expensive.

The recommended restaurant, Tuscany Too, was a real treat. The price, communication, and interior of the hotel were all exceptional. I also appreciated the fridge in the room and the attention to detail from the housekeeping staff.

I really appreciated the fridge in the room, as well as the heater that warmed up the room nicely. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located close to everything in the bathroom, including a mirror for drying hair and a spacious sink for brushing teeth. It's also an easy walk to the main beach and the town center or the beach and harbor. The rooms are personalized and pet-friendly, with comfortable beds and lovely ensuite bathrooms. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious.

One negative aspect is the parking situation, with limited permits for daytime parking and potential parking ticket risks.

The bed was incredibly comfortable with plenty of pillows for a great night’s sleep. The room had a hairdryer and a good-sized TV with excellent reception. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet area with easy access to the seafront. The breakfast was delicious and the staff, including Bilyana, were excellent and supportive.
