Parking was a hassle.

This hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to explore the town and further afield. It's also right in the bustling town centre, within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. Guests can even find a fantastic record shop nearby. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, making for a comfortable stay.

Some guests have noted noise from birds outside the hotel in the early morning.

The room was spotless, staff exceptionally friendly and efficient, delicious included breakfast, easily controlled heating, comfy bed, good wine selection.

We had a great stay at a hotel in the heart of a town. The breakfast was excellent and made with high-quality ingredients. We got lucky to meet the owner who was very helpful and charming. Unfortunately, we couldn't park at the hotel car park, but we found one nearby. Overall I'd recommend this hotel.

The value for money was really great, the room was tastefully decorated and clean, and the location was spot on for exploring the city. The staff at Friars Wynd were friendly, warm, and very helpful throughout our stay.

The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic. It was right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and discover all the attractions and shops nearby. Plus, the parking close by was cheap, which was a great bonus.

One aspect I didn't enjoy was the parking situation. It was quite difficult to find and the availability was limited.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the center of a bustling city. The room I had was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom, although tiny, had a good shower. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The location was fantastic, with plenty of great restaurants and a wine bar within walking distance. Despite a few minor issues, overall I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time during our Christmas stay at this hotel. the staff were incredibly welcoming and provided excellent service. the location was ideal, just a short walk from the train station and close to the main attractions in town. the room was clean and comfortable, with a newly renovated feel. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was conveniently included in the price.

The shower in our room, although stylish, was a bit difficult to adjust the temperature. the shower head was also a bit low for our comfort.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the center of a pedestrian area within the city center. The clean and comfortable rooms are equipped with a large double bed that ensures a good night's sleep.
