The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect for exploring the surrounding attractions, such as Lavenham and Helmingham Hall. Being right across from the charming Abbey Gardens, ruins, and cathedral was a major plus. Another great feature was the recently refurbished rooms in the extended wing. They were modern and elegant, providing a comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for restaurants and pubs in the area.

The breakfast/dining room could get quite loud and crowded when fully occupied, which made it difficult to have a peaceful meal. Additionally, the bar was small and tended to fill up quickly.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, right in the center of town and opposite the beautiful Abbey gardens. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with comfortable rooms that had all the facilities we needed, including tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary bottled water. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, even offering to move our car to their private parking during the day. The breakfast selection was plentiful and delicious, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. we were impressed with the cleanliness, facilities, parking, location, breakfast.

The lack of air conditioning in the room made it quite hot, and opening the windows caused noise disturbances from outside.

Had a great weekend with my partner. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant staff were very attentive. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea as part of the weekend package. The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the town center and the neighboring attractions.

The room wasn't as comfortable as expected, the bed was quite hard and the lighting wasn't sufficient for working. the bar service wasn't the best as we had to wait for a long time before we were attended to.
