Our hosts at Gable Lodge Guest House were incredibly kind and attentive. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room had stunning views of the surrounding hills and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast they cooked for us was absolutely superb, made with fresh, local ingredients. We couldn't fault any aspect of our stay. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with a map of the area's hiking trails and giving us great recommendations. It was a short walk to the Valley of Rocks and the Cliff Railway. The location was convenient, with local shops in the centre of Lynton and the Lynton Barnstable railway nearby.

We fell in love with this wonderful place - so clean and nicely decorated. The room was warm, clean, with very comfy beds. Breakfast was very good too!!! The owners were very friendly and helpful, providing a map with hiking trails in the area. The hotel is well situated in the town center, with safe parking and a quiet road. The location is lovely, with a well-kept garden where we could sit in the shade. The hotel is close to local shops and transportation.

All was perfect.

We enjoyed the stunning views from our cozy room and the warm hospitality we received from the staff. the breakfast was pretty good! We were able to explore the nearby coastal path and found some fantastic hidden gems along the way. the room also had a small fridge and a powerful shower, which added to our comfort.

The bed was too hard and it was difficult to fall asleep. there was no air conditioning in the room, so it became quite stuffy during the night.

The location of this guest house was perfect for me as a solo female traveler. It was in the centre of town, making it easy to access local shops and amenities. I also appreciated the well-kept garden where I could sit and relax in the shade. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, and the service provided by the owners was friendly and attentive. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was delicious. I found the location and facilities of this guest house to be convenient and enjoyable.

I did notice one negative aspect during my stay. The absence of a radiator or heated towel rail in the ensuite made it a bit chilly in the mornings.

Nothing that I didn't like.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Victorian guest house. The original features were stunning, especially the floor in the entry hall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a lovely walk-in shower and tea/coffee making facilities. The small fridge in the room was a nice touch. The breakfast was delicious and filling, and the parking space at the rear of the property was convenient. Anne and Dave were fantastic hosts and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend Gable Lodge Guest House.

I recently stayed at the lovely Gable Lodge in Lynton for a weekend getaway. The hosts, Ann and Dave, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with tea and biscuits, which was a nice touch. The well-kept garden provided a peaceful and shaded area to relax. The breakfasts were outstanding, with perfectly poached eggs and delicious homemade marmalade. I also appreciated the fresh milk provided for tea, stored in a mini fridge in the room. The location of the hotel was excellent, with attractions like the Valley of Rocks and Cliff Railway within a short walk. a wonderful experience.
