The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room I stayed in was lovely, with a massive and very comfortable bed. It was spotlessly clean and had a beautiful bathroom that looked quite new. The hotel is located in a pretty area and has a conservatory adjoining the pub, which was a great place to relax and take in the view of the garden. The breakfast, which was included in the rate, was delicious with a good variety of options to choose from. I was impressed with the attention to detail, basic amenities provided, and the very comfy bed.

Nothing, everything was great.

We stayed at the Greyhound Inn for a family wedding nearby. The rooms were clean and well kept, with ample space and storage. The full English breakfast was delicious, with fresh sausage, bacon, and eggs. The location was beautiful, overlooking the countryside just outside bustling Scarborough. The price per night for two adults was a reasonable £75. The inn is conveniently located near a fantastic farm shop called Trotters, which supplies the pub.

The Ganton Greyhound Inn is a lovely country pub with spacious and comfortable rooms. The bathroom facilities are good, with brilliant white towels and toiletries provided. The rooms have TVs on the walls and comfortable seating areas. The bar area is inviting, with friendly locals and obliging staff. The inn also offers a separate dining area that would be perfect for private functions. The breakfast is enjoyable, and the view from the breakfast room overlooks a beautiful lawn and garden area. it is a charming place to stay, with ample parking and a friendly manager.

One aspect that could be improved is the noise from the main road, which can be noticeable during the nighttime.

The Greyhound faces a very busy main road and unfortunately there is thundering traffic even in the early hours.

Spent Easter at a rural hotel ideally located for local attractions. Rooms were spacious and clean. the delicious breakfast and evening meal were standout features. It was easy to explore nearby attractions like Scampston Gardens and Wolds Way Lavender, as well as more well-known destinations like Castle Howard and Scarborough.

WiFi only worked in the main hotel and bar area, not in our room. Management came across as unfriendly and unapproachable.
