The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to a pub and close to the city center. It is also conveniently located near the Hoe and the Barbican, allowing easy access to the highlights of the city. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean, with tea and coffee facilities provided. The owner is cheerful and helpful, offering advice on local facilities and storing bikes. Additionally, the hotel offers parking for a small fee.

There is a slight issue with the bathroom facilities, as some rooms may not have en-suite bathrooms and the shared bathrooms are located on a different floor.

The location was great, within walking distance of the Barbican and the harbor. the view of the monument from the room was also a nice touch. the beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

There were a few drawbacks during our weekend stay. the room was quite small, especially as we were allocated an attic room.

The George Guest House in Plymouth is fantastic value for money - I got more than I paid for! The room was comfortable, clean, and had all the necessary facilities. The location is perfect, with easy access to the town and the picturesque Plymouth Hoe. Nigel, the host, was friendly and accommodating, making my stay even better!

The guest house is perfectly located near the sea front, the city center, and the Barbican area, providing easy access to cozy restaurants and shops. Nigel, who greeted us, was very kind and helpful, answering all our questions. The room was well-stocked with biscuits, porridge, and a teapot, a nice touch for our stay.

A small hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was superb, just steps away from the historic Hoe park and with a great pub right next door. The owner, Nigel, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and even helped me with my bags and getting to the bus station. The bed was incredibly comfortable with an abundance of pillows. This hotel truly provided a wonderful experience.

Clean rooms with plenty of tea and coffee. Ample stores nearby and a pub as a neighbor. Host was welcoming, knowledgeable, and even had Netflix.

We recently stayed at George Guest House and had a fantastic experience. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town. the owner was incredibly kind and even moved his car so we could park closer. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the porridge pots and tea and coffee facilities in our room. the beds were super comfortable and the shared bathroom was modern and spacious. We also loved that we were given three sets of keys, allowing us to come and go as we pleased.

Located in a beautiful area with great views of the sea and near a nice pub, this small hotel turned out to be a great value for money. the staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate guests by providing a milk alternative for a lactose intolerant guest. Beds were comfortable and came with lots of pillows. the hotel offered a pleasant experience.

The hotel needs some modernizing and the rooms were not as advertised in their photos. the bedroom was also very cold with wind blowing through the gap in the window.

Secondly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Lastly, the location was perfect - right in the heart of everything, with easy access to the promenade and a cozy pub nearby. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with shared bathroom facilities and a lovely view of the garden. I had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Convenient location near the waterfront and city center. Friendly staff allowed us to store our bags. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds, tea/coffee, and a TV. Owner and cleaner were welcoming and attentive. Good value for the price.

I recently stayed at a guesthouse in a great location, just a few minutes' walk from The Hoe and a short stroll to the city centre. The room had a pleasing clean smell when I entered, with crisp and immaculate beds adorned with good quality linen. The bathroom, although small, was clean and had fluffy towels. Despite some noise from the nearby pub and seagulls, it didn't detract from my stay. The guesthouse offered a good quality breakfast in the adjacent pub, with a range of options available.
