The property had a great location, despite the noisy morning disturbances outside the ground-floor room. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with a lovely bay window. Parking fees were a downside, breakfast was pricey. The staff were friendly and welcoming, room had good amenities. a good value stay.

We had an incredible stay in this cozy hotel. The location was excellent, as it was close to the train station and the bustling Shambles market. It was also very easy to explore the town center and enjoy all its attractions. The room was immaculate and comfortable, providing a perfect space to relax after a day of exploring. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and a variety of jams. this hotel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be returning.

I recently stayed at a hotel in York and had a fantastic experience. the value for money was excellent, especially considering the attention to detail in the rooms. The beautiful decor and little touches like biscuits and tea/coffee/hot chocolate made me feel right at home. Secondly, the location was perfect, with the hotel being close to the train station, town wall, and city center. Finally, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

I had an amazing stay at a lovely place with friendly owners. the rooms were impeccably clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. the shared apartment facilities were a great convenience, especially having access to a kitchen. the location was quiet with easy bus service to the city center and multiple bus stops to the train station. the host was very helpful and even arranged a late check-in for us. it was the best place I've ever stayed in and I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout my holiday.

Communication with the host, Simon, was excellent, and he even allowed us to check in earlier than usual. our experience at Georges Place was exceptional and we highly recommend it.
