I have to admit, I was born just a few miles away, so staying at this hotel was like revisiting my roots. The room I stayed in was not only very spacious, but also extremely comfortable and clean. The bathroom was recently renovated and had a fantastic rainfall shower above the bath. The staff, particularly Nathan, were friendly, helpful. The food at the hotel was absolutely amazing, with a great selection of meal options, including some delicious specials. The hotel also had a good variety of beers, wines, and spirits. The location in a quaint Lancashire village under Pendle Hill was simply perfect for someone who loves the countryside like me.

The rooms, although slightly worn, offered a comfortable stay with picturesque views of the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious and filling, giving us the energy needed for our next adventure. a wonderful experience worth exploring.

The noise from the nearby kitchen and delivery area disrupted our peace at times.

Plus, the village's lack of mobile phone signal was actually a plus for me, but there was good wifi available.

The cozy log fire in the bar added a welcoming touch to our stay. Finally, the warm and cheerful welcome we received from Jonathan upon arrival made us feel right at home. I recently stayed at a lovely pub in a great location for walking and climbing. The evening meal was amazing, especially the plaice with samphire, and the bar had live entertainment. The room was comfortable with modern facilities. The location next to the fire exit was convenient for leaving early. Access to Pendleton hill and a variety of walks was easy.

The admin side of my visit was a bit of a letdown.
