As a budget traveler, I was delighted with the beautiful location and the abundance of outdoor activities available right from the hotel. The breakfast and dinner options were plentiful and delicious, providing a great start and end to my days of adventure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the clean rooms with powerful showers were exactly what I needed after a wet hike. The comfortable lounge with a log fire was a cozy touch, even in August. And of course, the views from my bedroom window were absolutely stunning.

I felt incredibly lucky to have found this hidden gem of a hotel. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The staff provided excellent service, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the delicious breakfast that fueled us for the day ahead.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley, and my experience at Glaramara was absolutely brilliant. The staff were wonderful and very helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our late arrival was accommodated by leaving our keys in a secure place. They even provided a packed lunch for our climb of Scafell Pike, which was great. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to stunning walks and a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. The room itself was gorgeous, with excellent water pressure and stunning views of the mountain face. The bed was also very comfortable. The barman was top class, always with a smile and knowledgeable about the drinks. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've had in a hotel. I strongly recommend Glaramara and would definitely come back.

The hotel was located in a great spot walking distance to lots of restaurants and tourist attractions, including the famous landmark. the staff were very friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. the on-site bar was well-stocked and made for a great place to grab a drink and relax after a long day of exploring.

The rooms were a bit on the small side and not well insulated, which meant that noise from other guests or the street could be heard quite easily. the breakfast options were a bit limited, and unfortunately, the meals we had at the on-site restaurant were not very good.

The hotel in the heart of the English Lake District offers exceptional value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. Nestled in a beautiful valley, the location is simply breathtaking. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service, ensuring that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are well-equipped with all the required facilities, including powerful showers and wonderfully comfy beds. And not to be missed, the breakfast at 8.15am is a delicious start to the day.
