We had such a pleasant stay at Glencree Bed & Breakfast! The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including a smart TV and a coffee machine. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding areas on foot. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The hosts, Ian and Amy, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated the free access to the nearby leisure club. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Glencree Bed & Breakfast.

A fantastic stay at this 5 star guest house. We were amazed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. Ian, the owner, was incredibly accommodating and made our stay extra special. The breakfast and evening meals were top-notch. We especially loved the Honesty Bar concept. The location was perfect, with easy access to both Windermere and Bowness village. The view from our room was beautiful and the bathroom was spotless. an amazing experience and we will definitely be returning.

We had great value for our money at Glencree Bed & Breakfast. The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated and clean, and the balcony was worth the extra cost. Sitting out on the balcony, reading or watching the bats in the evening, was incredibly tranquil and relaxing. The location was perfect, within walking distance of Bowness and Windermere, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Our host Ian was amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely trip. He even surprised us with drinks on our balcony for our 30th wedding anniversary. Truly a home away from home.

The view from the room was really lovely, we enjoyed it a lot. The location was great, right in the middle of two popular areas, which made it easy to explore. the breakfast was delicious and hearty, we started our day energized and ready to go.

There was constant noise from the room below and we could hear everything as if they were in our room. There was also a bright light shining into the room from a glass panel above the door, which made it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep.

Room #3 was beautiful with a balcony and a charming view of the stream below. Convenient location for easy walks to both town centers. Ian, the host, was friendly, helpful, and provided great breakfast options. a delightful weekend getaway.

We had a truly wonderful stay here. The location was perfect, nestled amongst beautiful surroundings with a stream and lit up trees that created a magical ambiance at night. The balcony was absolutely fabulous, we loved sitting out there and soaking in the tranquility. The room itself, room 6, was impeccably finished and extremely comfortable. We had everything we needed, including blackout curtains that ensured a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was simply delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Ian, the host, was exceptional, making us feel instantly at home and providing us with valuable tips for our drive to Keswick. amazing value for money and we can't wait to come back and stay again.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was within walking distance of both the lake and the town center, making it very convenient.

While there was nothing that I particularly disliked about my stay, it is worth mentioning that some amenities, such as the spa and gym, were a bit of a walk away if you didn't have a car. However, this was not a major issue for me, as the bus was available for those days when I wanted to travel more extensively.

The walk-in shower has a touch screen for temperature control. There is a stream nearby that can be heard with the window open. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Kindle device provides helpful information and tips.
