If you're looking for a mini break in the area, I highly recommend staying in a lovely traditional pub off the beaten track. The rooms are lovely, clean, and cosy, with beautiful views of the countryside. The staff are friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome throughout your stay. Plus, if you're a dog owner, this pub is also dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your furry friend along for a relaxed getaway.

The noise from the bar music flowing into the rooms could be a bit bothersome, albeit turned down upon request.

Lovely countryside location, cozy atmosphere, good quality food at reasonable price, nice and reasonably priced rooms, frequented even by non-locals. Clean room with nice decor, plenty of clean towels. Attentive staff, beautifully cooked and presented evening meal. Comfy bed with big pillows. Good breakfast options, enjoyed the Feta and Avocado.

The value for money was excellent, we got a great deal and would have happily paid more. The room was clean, tidy, and had breathtaking views. The staff were friendly, polite, and made us feel welcome.

We had a great time at The Alma Inn in Sowerby Bridge. The location was amazing, with beautiful landscapes to explore. Our room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy space for me, my partner, and our dog. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a variety of tasty options. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. the traditional atmosphere and original features added a charming touch to our experience.

The lack of a bedside lamp in our room was a minor inconvenience.

My partner and I were caught in a snowstorm and the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They saved us some delicious food and even provided it free of charge. The room was cozy, clean, and the breakfast was fantastic. Despite the weather, we would love to return someday. a truly exceptional experience.

I had a fantastic stay at Alma Inn. the double room was clean, comfortable, and immaculate. the restaurant had a lively atmosphere and the marquee outside added to the ambiance. the food was absolutely amazing, from the delicious breakfast to the mouthwatering evening meal. Even my well-traveled brother was blown away by the culinary experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The mattress on the bed was a little bit hard which made it difficult to sleep at night, and the room was quite stuffy with no fan provided. Some of the staff members were not wearing face coverings which was a bit concerning given the current circumstances.
