The hotel is clean and has great facilities. The breakfast is delicious, served on lovely bone china crockery. The location on Islay is unique, offering opportunities for walking on the beach, exploring the Celtic cross, playing golf, and visiting the distilleries. The staff, especially Emma, is friendly and helpful.

As a tourist, I absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Glenegedale House. Emma and Graeme took the time to chat and provide us with invaluable advice about the island. The food they cooked was sensational, and after a busy day, curling up on the sofa with a G&T and a book felt like coming home. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the breakfasts were top-notch. The hosts even helped us secure dinner reservations and entertained us with their musical talents. an amazing experience that I highly recommend.

The restaurant lacks variety, and some dishes were overpriced. Although the staff was attentive, the service needs improvement.
