Had an amazing stay at this B&B! the family was super friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. the location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful forests and nature. the room was spacious and clean with a comfy bed and a great view. I loved the homemade breakfast, especially the delicious muffins. the highlight was seeing red squirrels and birds up close from the kitchen window, such a magical experience!

The color of the running water, which didn't look very appealing for drinking. However, this could be attributed to the remote location and didn't affect the overall experience.

Idyllic location with lovely walks and welcoming host. The property was kept clean and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast options were delicious, including homemade overnight oats and muffins.

No shower gel provided and water pressure in the shower, toilet, and taps was not good. The room did not have a key to secure it effectively and there was no wardrobe.

The hosts, Maria and Robert, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the access to the kitchen facilities and lounge. During our stay at Glentruim Homestay, we were treated like family from the moment we arrived to the end of our stay. The owners were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The room was lovely and clean, and the breakfast was delicious, especially Robert's homemade muffins. We also had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast while watching an array of wildlife on the bird feeders, including deer and a friendly red squirrel. The location of the property was just minutes away from a marked trail that led to a beautiful viewpoint, offering breathtaking views all around the house.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

As women traveling alone, we felt extremely safe and comfortable at this homestay. The hosts were welcoming, kind, and made us feel right at home. The cozy living space and picturesque bedroom made our stay even more enjoyable. The location also offered stunning walks and beautiful wildlife sightings, including red squirrels and deer. We also loved the ability to use the kitchen facilities and enjoyed scrummy homemade muffins for breakfast.

The bed was so comfortable and the homemade tea-cakes at breakfast were delicious. The location was also fantastic, with amazing views just a short distance away. Being surrounded by nature was a real treat.

The cleanliness of the shared bathroom was not up to par, and the floors throughout the house were quite grubby. Additionally, the water in the bathrooms was a bit off-putting as it came from a borehole and had a brown tint.

The house had ample communal facilities and the room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and spacious. We enjoyed homemade English muffins and granola mix for breakfast, and the location was ideal for nearby outdoor activities. The hosts' recommendations for walks and viewpoints were spectacular. a warm and outstanding stay that we highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at a Homestay in a beautiful location. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They were also very accommodating, providing a delicious gluten-free breakfast option for us. We loved being able to use the family kitchen, giving us the option to cook our own meals. One of the highlights of our stay was seeing red squirrels up close through the breakfast window. The location was also breathtaking, especially during the autumn season with the vibrant colors of the trees. We even got to see stags and deer on the road. The facilities provided were excellent, including the use of an Aga for cooking and the homemade muffins for breakfast. We are already planning a return visit because of the relaxing and picturesque atmosphere. Highly recommended!
