Spent my Christmas break at a hotel in a great location, just a stone's throw from the castle and the train station. The room was decent and spacious enough for us with a large bathroom featuring a good shower and bath. We were also provided with a self-service continental breakfast which was a plus.

The bed was lumpy and had a sagging in the middle making it uncomfortable to sleep on. the bathroom was a bit old-fashioned and dirty in places which wasn't pleasant.

there were no blinds or opaque netting/film on the windows, which meant that anyone passing by could easily see inside the room. To maintain privacy, we had to keep the thick long curtains closed, which made the room too dark.
