After a disastrous stay elsewhere, we arrived at Grant Arms feeling nervous. However, we were delighted with our experience. The management and staff keep everything well-maintained, clean, and tidy. Our room was large and very clean, with a nice bathroom and fluffy towels. The bar area was attractive and relaxing. The restaurant offered excellent value for money, with two delicious evening meals.

Would recommend this hotel.

The service provided by the staff was top-notch, from the warm welcome drink upon arrival to the genuine and attentive assistance throughout our stay. The room was well-maintained and had all the necessary amenities, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a cozy carpeted floor. Plus, we enjoyed the delicious meals at the on-site dining restaurant, which catered to special dietary needs as well.

The bar closed early on both nights of our stay, which was a bit disappointing.

Great base for bird watching with daily updates from friendly staff. Good facilities such as free laundry and boot room. Beautifully redecorated hotel with spacious suites, clean rooms, and good amenities. Lovely bar with a great whiskey selection. Fabulous food from dinner to breakfast. Quiet, relaxed atmosphere. grant arms exceeded our expectations during this stay. the location was perfect, the food excellent , and the staff friendly and cheerful. our gluten allergy was known about and catered for excellently. the room was comfortable with a walk-in shower, and the breakfast hours were really useful.

Breakfast could be improved with more fresh fruit, 'real' coffee, and the ability to cook toast yourself.

I had a fantastic stay at Grant Arms. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly, making me feel like I was being taken care of from the moment I arrived. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a focus on using local produce that made the dishes taste even better. Good well cooked Scottish style breakfast. Adequate sized room with large double bed. Daily bird watching activities. Excellent library and small conference room. Local shops and places to eat. Excellent places to walk and see nature.

Had a good time with my family during xmas. The hotel offered an xmas dinner and entertainment which was nice. , the hotel is in a good location with easy access to different shops and restaurants in the area. Plus, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was not up to par. The bed was uncomfortable and the linens were scratchy.
