I recently stayed at Green Tree Hotel for a business meeting and was thoroughly impressed. The room was spacious and cozy, with a well-functioning wall-mounted TV and fast Wi-Fi. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I even had the pleasure of chatting with the welcoming barman, Alaster/Alistair. Though I didn't have dinner, the food looked amazing, as many guests raved about it. The free parking at the back of the hotel was also a convenient perk. a fantastic experience.

The location is superb, right in the heart of town with convenient parking on site. The rooms are in need of an update, but they are clean and adequately sized. The staff from the dining room are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcome throughout your stay. The meals, especially dinner, are exceptional with a wide selection and generous portions. Great value for money.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. the breakfast served at the hotel was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. the staff were all very friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

Located in the heart of town, this hotel offers convenience and accessibility. Situated right next to the bus stop which goes to Edinburgh bus station, it is an ideal base for exploring the area without the hassle of driving. The restaurant provides excellent service, with attentive staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast in the morning before starting their day of activities.

While the hotel provides comfortable and convenient accommodation, some areas may need a bit of refreshing to enhance the overall experience.

Our room was clean and well-equipped, and we enjoyed the pleasant view of the main street from our windows. it was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend Green Tree Hotel.

I recently stayed at the Green Tree hotel for a few nights while attending a nearby course. The location was perfect, being on the main street, and I was thrilled to be able to park at the hotel. The staff were friendly and approachable, and they accommodated my request for a downstairs room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, complete with a cozy bed and an extra heater. The food was fantastic, with generous portions and a delicious cooked breakfast that wasn't oily. a great stay!

The hotel's location right in the heart of town made it easy for me to explore and enjoy the main shopping area. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made sure that I had everything I needed during my stay. The food at the hotel was excellent, with plenty of choices and good portions. It was also great value for money. The hotel had parking on site, which was convenient and allowed me to walk to the main attractions in Peebles town centre.

Excellent central location, clean comfortable room, very quiet and peaceful. Handy radio alarm clock, comfortable seats. Comfy bed, nice hot shower with ample toiletries. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Lovely large pot of tea at breakfast, quick and efficient service.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The location was perfect for exploring the town and the hotel itself was surprisingly spacious. We were able to park in the car park at the back, which was well organized. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Our family room was incredibly spacious and the beds were comfortable. We also appreciated the ample supply of tea, coffee, and biscuits in the room. The breakfast was excellent, and the manager was a pleasure to deal with.

Although the corridors and some of the bedroom furniture showed signs of wear and tear, they were still functional and didn't significantly impact our stay.

Stayed at the Green Tree for a weekend getaway. Clean, comfortable rooms with all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even to our furry friend. Conveniently located, within walking distance to shops and pubs. Breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of choices. Exceptional value for the money. If you're not looking for Instagram-worthy style, this hotel is perfect.

the location was ideal for taking part in Tour o the Borders and we were able to easily access our car from the back door of our spacious room. the hotel staff were very accommodating and took excellent precautions. the bed was super comfy and the breakfast was one of the nicest we've ever had, with great quality produce. the hotel's location on the edge of the High Street made it convenient for exploring the town and enjoying the nearby river. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Peebles.

stayed in peeble before, but green tree hotel was fantastic! room was nice and clean with good facilities. staff member andy was very welcoming. included breakfast was great. will definitely choose to stay here again.
