We had a fantastic stay at the hostel in the centre of town. the location was perfect, giving us easy access to local restaurants, pubs, and shops. We also enjoyed the level walking routes along the river. the rooms were spotless and had en-suite separate toilet and shower rooms. the communal area was comfortable, and we appreciated the ability to cook our own food. the skylight windows had shutters that could be closed with a remote control, ensuring a peaceful sleep even during the long daylight hours of Northern Scotland Summer. the staff was friendly and provided us with all the important information before our trip. For travelers with bicycles and those using the train, the hostel had lockable bicycle storage, making it a perfect accommodation choice.

We had a fantastic stay at a well-run hostel with a warm welcome. The hostel is centrally located, making it easy to explore the town and nearby attractions. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with en-suite facilities. The communal area was perfect for relaxing and cooking our own meals. We also appreciated the ability to close the shutters on the skylight windows for a peaceful night's sleep. we highly recommend this hostel for its impressive facilities and friendly atmosphere.

The hostel was exceptionally clean, with friendly and helpful staff, and easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. the sitting and eating area was quite comfortable and homely, with plenty of books and information to peruse. the kitchen was good and well equipped.

The room did not have any windows, only a skylight, which made it difficult to shut out the light and made the room rather hot. guests had to pay for towels, which seems a bit excessive given the price of the room.

the staff were incredibly helpful and provided great recommendations for dining and local attractions. the communal kitchen was well-equipped and had complimentary tea and coffee for breakfast. My room was spacious and clean, perfect for a short or longer stay. there were plenty of other dining options in the area. it was a great value for the reasonable price.
