We loved this hotel. We stayed for a relaxing getaway break and the views were stunning. The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the rugged North Devon coast. The room, breakfast, and staff were all great. The nearby Wreakers Retreat Pub was ideal for a drink after a day out. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful views, this is the perfect spot.

I got great value for my money at Hartland Quay. The room was comfy and clean, with lovely furnishings. The location was absolutely stunning and the staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay.

The menu for breakfast could use a little improvement, maybe offering a few more options.

The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking, with waves crashing against the cliffs and a stunning sea view. the room was exactly as described, with a comfortable bed and a double sofa in front of the bay window. the hotel's location on the Atlantic Coast was perfect, offering a sense of isolation and amazing rock formations. the walks along the coast were marvelous, with the sound of waves against the shore creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The manager didn't seem interested when I mentioned that I was celebrating my 21st wedding anniversary, and the luke-warm beans at breakfast were not pleasant. However, the location of the hotel made up for these negatives.

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking geological formations and a picturesque beach. Despite it being a busy bank holiday, the beach was surprisingly quiet. Our sea view room was perfect - clean, comfortable, and captured the traditional charm we love in a hotel. The staff were all friendly and provided excellent service. The food was delicious and well-priced, and we enjoyed the selection of ales at the bar. we had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this hotel.

Plus, the hotel's proximity to the sea allows for picturesque walks along the shore.

The bathroom floors can be quite creaky, which may disturb your partner if you need to visit the loo in the middle of the night.

The view of the sea from the room was definitely one of the highlights of the trip! the luggage transfer service was a pleasant surprise and very convenient. the traditional food served at the pub was delicious.

The bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but it wasn't a major issue. the gluten-free packed lunch had a chocolate bar that could have come in contact with wheat, so it may not be suitable for those with severe gluten allergies.

The value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for both the accommodation and the food. The staff at this hotel were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The rooms were comfortable and offered breathtaking sea views, allowing guests to truly immerse themselves in the beauty of the ocean. Additionally, breakfast options included a delicious full English, complete with flavorful local sausages.
