The value for money at Haweswater was excellent. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location was stunning, quiet, and peaceful. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

Breakfast choices could be improved, cooked breakfast seemed to have been precooked and not freshly made.

The lack of insulation between rooms, as we were woken up early by noisy neighbors. Interrupting our meal to address a complaint about our dogs was also inconvenient.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel on the shore of the beautiful Haweswater Reservoir. The location is truly stunning, surrounded by nature and offering access to some great fell walking. The peaceful and charming atmosphere of this hotel, with its pleasant garden area, made for a truly relaxing getaway. The rooms were comfortable, with double beds and extra toiletries available upon request. And let's not forget the amazing view from the rooms, simply breathtaking! The breakfast served in the morning with a fantastic view was a great way to start the day, offering both hot and cold options. I particularly enjoyed the basic sausage, it was delicious!

The location of the hotel, situated by a beautiful lake in the Lake District, provided stunning views of the fells at 4 am. Additionally, the Art Deco restaurant was a unique and amazing dining experience. The lakeside atmosphere was truly wonderful. Other dining options in the area were available at a lower price point than the hotel. The friendly and professional staff, along with the delicious breakfast, added to the positive experience. a great location for a relaxing getaway.

The lack of temperature control in the rooms made for a hot and uncomfortable night.

The views from the hotel were breathtaking, especially during our Thanksgiving stay. Two complementary facts offered were a warm drink on arrival and breakfast each day. the hotel's location offered easy access to local shops and attractions, which was a plus.

Some aspects of the room were not up to standard. Although the room was generally clean and cozy, some areas had been touched up but could benefit from redecorating.
