We had a great stay here! The location was perfect, close to everything. We loved the terrace area outside the bar, it was a nice spot to relax. The staff was very friendly and provided great service. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink and even given a tour of the hotel. The room amenities were fantastic, including heating, air conditioning, and tea/coffee facilities. We also appreciated the free toiletries provided. this place was a great experience!

Our stay at Maxwell Mansion was amazing! The equestrian-themed room in the new building was comfortable and well-appointed. The Apothecary Bar and Speakeasy were fun and expertly executed. We had a great time sipping drinks by the fire pit on the terrace. Overall I recommend this hotel!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The bed was so comfortable, and the shower was amazing with different temperature settings and shower heads. The room was clean and spacious, just like in the pictures. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything we wanted to do in this city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the bartender was very talented and made delicious drinks.

Loved the unique character and ambiance of this non-chain hotel. The friendly bartenders and helpful front desk staff were a plus. Enjoyed the short walking distance to downtown. Definitely a place we would stay again!

We had a very pleasant stay at this place. The Jane Austen room was incredibly spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the nice sitting area as well. The staff here are all friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. The Apothecary Bar serves the best Wisconsin Old Fashions we've ever had. And the Speakeasy was a really fun and unique experience that we highly recommend trying. Even though we couldn't enjoy the pool due to the weather, we were able to enjoy the live music on the veranda, which was a real treat.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. the Jane room had a faulty heater that didn't work properly, making the temperature uncomfortable for sleeping.

Amazing cocktail experience at the bar! Chaz, the talented bartender, crafted unique and delicious cocktails. The ambiance was fantastic, whether lounging by the firepit or exploring the property. Starting the evening with a cocktail at Maxwell is a must-do in LG!
