high lodge was the perfect getaway. comfortable lodge, amazing lake view, and a nice cafe nearby. beautiful beaches nearby made it even better. highly recommend.

I had never considered staying in a lodge before, but my recent stay at High Lodge was surprisingly good! The lodge itself was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The hot tub was amazing and provided the perfect way to relax after a long day. The location was ideal for my love of fishing and bird watching. I also appreciated the helpfulness of the staff. I had a wonderful time and am already planning my next stay at High Lodge.

The breakfast was excellent, especially the full English and waffles. The kids really enjoyed them. The lodge was even better than we expected. The spacious living/dining/kitchen area comfortably accommodated all 12 of us.- The location by the lake was idyllic and provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Watching people fish was a great way to unwind.- The staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to find taxi numbers for us.

It was necessary to have a car to reach restaurants and pubs for an evening meal or drink. Although the lodge was described as having a hot tub, we didn't have one.

We had a fantastic stay at High Lodge! The breakfast was delicious, especially the full English and waffles that the kids loved. The lodge itself was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful view of the idyllic lake. It was a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for watching people fishing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our two-night stay. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby beaches, which were lovely. it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
