High Seas Motel, Bar Harbor (ME) - Deals & Reviews

I recently stayed at a motel in Bar Harbor for two nights. The price was a special at $99 a night and the room had all the basics we needed - wifi, fridge, and a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and thorough, and the motel even had a clean pool that I enjoyed using. There are also several great restaurants within walking distance, like the Chart Room, which is an excellent seafood restaurant. The location is great and the motel is operated by a very nice family.

We stayed at High Seas Motel for a few nights while exploring Acadia National Park. The staff were attentive and the room was exceptional, with comfortable beds and modern decor. The motel had thoughtful touches such as complimentary morning coffee, a vending room, and outdoor seating areas. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the park entrance. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and facilities for the price we paid. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at a large, clean, and modern property near Bar Harbor. the room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Although there was no coffee maker in the room, we discovered that free coffee was available in the vending room, which was just as good. the location was convenient for visiting Acadia, just a 10-minute drive to Bar Harbor. the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. it was an excellent value for the money.

We had a wonderful experience at the High Seas Motel. The owner was friendly and check-in was a breeze. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds, and the air conditioning kept us cool. The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing. Unlike other places we've stayed, the walls were not thin, so we didn't have to hear every conversation around us. The motel is also conveniently located on the bus line into town, although we had to drive because the bus wasn't running on time. Despite this minor inconvenience, the motel's facilities and price make it unbeatable.

We absolutely loved our stay at High Seas Motel! As young families, we appreciated the spacious and well-presented rooms, perfect for settling in with our little ones. The guest laundry facility was a lifesaver after a month of traveling, and having free hot drinks and reasonably priced vending machines made our stay even more enjoyable. The motel's location, just outside the park and Bar Harbor, was ideal. Plus, with restaurants right across the road, we had plenty of dining options within reach. The summer pool was also a hit for some fun in the sun!

We loved that the housekeeping staff was accommodating to our late mornings and early departures. the location was great, with easy unloading and loading of our baggage. We also appreciated the quietness at night, allowing us to relax and unwind.

First, there was no coffee maker in the room, so we had to get dressed and walk to another building for our morning coffee. the bathroom was quite small, and the temperature control for the heater was difficult to manage, resulting in fluctuations between too hot and too cold in the room.
