We recently stayed at this lovely 4-star hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location amongst the sheep-filled fields was breathtaking, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere that allowed us to truly relax and unwind. The service and housekeeping were impeccable, ensuring that our room was always clean and tidy. We were impressed with the wide range of amenities provided, including ironing facilities, heating, and tea and coffee facilities. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy sitting area and a dining table where we enjoyed our meals. The complimentary toiletries and the electric kettle were thoughtful touches that added to our comfort.

We had a fantastic weekend in this quaint farmhouse cottage. The owners were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. They even had a homemade cake waiting for us when we arrived. The location was beautiful, with easy access to the farm and a stunning view down to the lake. The rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. it was a peaceful and idyllic spot for a weekend getaway.

The nearby village, Hawkshead, had limited options for food and was a bit pricey for pub food.

I had the most delightful stay at a charming farmhouse in the heart of the countryside. The warm and welcoming host, Sheila, made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The breakfast spread was truly exceptional, with high-quality options and a wide variety to choose from. I also appreciated the little touches, like the homemade lemon drizzle cake and shortbread, which were absolutely delicious. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway, with plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring the surrounding area. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of a TV in the room and the potential for noise from neighboring guests, my stay was overall fantastic. I would highly recommend this lovely farmhouse to anyone looking for a cozy and unique experience in the countryside.

Beautiful farmhouse with charming decor and cozy atmosphere, felt like being in a Beatrix Potter story. Nice little touches like a candlelit lounge with comfy cushions and a fridge for guests to use. Delightful garden that made us envious with its sweetpeas.

Sadly, the breakfast didn't live up to the expectations set by other reviews, but I guess taste is subjective. It would have been better if there were TVs in the rooms, as sometimes you just want to indulge in some TV time.

the perfect countryside retreat! cozy farmhouse, warm hospitality, and delicious homemade treats. felt right at home, like staying with a friend. much better than my previous stay in ambleside. would easily choose high wray farm b&b again.

Warm welcome, lovely decor and furniture, friendly and helpful staff, and amazing breakfast. the farmhouse is decorated in traditional styles, the rooms are spacious and fitted with cosy wood-burners, comfy furniture, and great amenities. the location is secluded with great walks in the surrounding area, and there are fresh fruits and wholesome bread for breakfast.

The place does not have TVs in the rooms, which is not the ideal set up if you enjoy watching TV in your room. the seating in the lounge is quite limited, which can be a bit of a nuisance if the room is crowded.

My stay at High Wray Farm was absolutely superb. The accommodation was impeccable, making me feel right at home. The 15th-century lounge with its original features and cozy log burner created the perfect atmosphere. The warm welcome from the staff, along with coffee and cakes on arrival, made me feel truly valued as a guest. I especially loved the delicious breakfast buffet, offering fresh fruit, cereals, toast, and a mouth-watering full English fry up. And let's not forget about the incredibly comfortable bed - I wish I could have taken it home with me! I highly recommend this delightful B&B for an unforgettable stay.
