The cottages are spacious and well-furnished, providing all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed having breakfast there with the complimentary tea and coffee provided. Despite its proximity to the A1, the surroundings were peaceful and quiet at night. The private patio offered beautiful views over the fields. The owners were very helpful and even went out of their way to return a forgotten item to us. The location was convenient for exploring the areas surrounding Cambridge, Luton, and Bedford. we highly recommend Highfield Farm for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Amazing Value for Money

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem near Sandy, and we were blown away by the incredible value for money. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had top-quality fixtures and fittings throughout. The comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep, and we woke up to stunning views of the idyllic countryside while enjoying a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. We were amazed when we found out that all of this came at a rate of only £50 per night! We have paid double that for much poorer accommodation in the past.

We stayed in a spacious cottage with a large living room and kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances. The location on the M1 dual carriageway made it convenient for us to explore the surrounding area. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and provided us with lovely complimentary toiletries. The breakfast served was delicious and energizing. The views from the farm were stunning, adding to the overall charm of the place.

The lack of pedestrian or bicycle access to the farm due to its proximity to the A1, limiting our options for outdoor activities.

We had a fantastic stay at this Bed & Breakfast. the breakfast was excellent and the location was very convenient for us. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome and were impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. the venue is situated off the A1, but the peaceful sleep was not disturbed by any traffic noise. Anne Marie and Tracy were an excellent team and made us feel right at home. We also enjoyed a stroll along the farm track after breakfast and were delighted to spot three skylarks. the cat greeting us upon arrival was a lovely touch as well.

the room was well-equipped with exclusive facilities, such as plush bedding and a high-quality shower. the location advantages were also great, as the hotel was surrounded by beautiful greenery and offered a peaceful atmosphere. the service was exceptional with attentive staff, who were always ready to assist with any requests. the garden area was a lovely spot to relax and the leisure/ TV room was a great place to socialize.

the special diet menu, although greatly appreciated, had limited options.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage called Chestnut at Highfield Farm, located in a serene setting amidst corn fields in the south-bound direction of the A1. The room was well-appointed and had a peaceful ambiance. The bathroom was clean and had superior quality towels. The staff provided efficient and welcoming service, and the breakfast was delicious. It was delightful to enjoy breakfast while observing the busy bird feeders just outside.

I did find the turn off from the A1 to be a bit sudden and inconvenient at times.
