i was highly disappointed with the old, dusty decor in my room. and for the price paid, i expected at least some luxuries like slippers or a robe. the breakfast was also just so average, but what really bugged me was that they didn’t even offer any compensation for these inconveniences. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The hotel was ideally located across from Clifford Tower, making it easy to access local attractions. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere despite being so close to the city center. Additionally, the room was clean and comfortable, which helped me unwind after a long day of meetings.

However, I faced some noise disturbances from the street early in the morning.

My stay was quite disappointing. The noise from the restaurant outside our room was unbearable, especially with a refuse truck picking up at 5 AM. On top of that, the lack of air conditioning made it hard to sleep, and the bed was uncomfortably firm. I also found the staff at reception to be unfriendly, which did not enhance my experience.

I enjoyed my stay, particularly the breakfast options. I found the buffet diverse with vegan options, which was great for me and my partner. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and attentive, making dining a pleasant experience. Although the walls were thin, leading to some disturbance from our neighbors, the overall atmosphere and location made it worth it. It reminded me of the wonderful moments European road trips can provide.
