We had a great time exploring the area, with the canal tow path just a short walk away. It was a lovely and peaceful place to take a stroll and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owners of the accommodation were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The food served was delicious and presented beautifully, it was a pleasure to dine there. We also appreciated the attentive and excellent service provided during our stay.

We made a change to our reservation to accommodate an additional guest, but upon arrival, we were charged more than originally quoted. the scent in the bedroom was a bit overpowering and caused some discomfort.

The location was convenient for Donington Circuit and East Midlands airport. excellent value for money and a delightful stay.

shardlow exceeded expectations! felt like staying with a good friend in a beautiful georgian house. the quilt was perfect and the homemade ginger marmalade was delicious. overall, left in a holiday mood.

Stayed over Easter, great location near East Midlands airport. Nice clean room with beautiful river view and decent facilities. The breakfast was good with a range of cereals, toast, and a delicious full English breakfast. The host offered us free tea and homemade cake on arrival which was a nice touch. They also helped us to carry our luggage to our room. Good restaurants nearby.

Although the place was clean, the owners weren't very welcoming, and it felt like they weren't interested in making our stay comfortable. The towels weren't clean, and the overall experience was very impersonal, there was no entertainment or little touches to make Easter feel special.
