We had a fantastic time at the hotel. The location was perfect, being very close to the city centre but not too close to disturb our rest. It was also conveniently located on several main bus lines, making it easy for us to explore the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the facilities provided were top-notch. The breakfast offered a great variety of options and was excellent value for money. Lastly, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, providing excellent customer service throughout our stay.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! It's right opposite Cardiff Castle and a short walk to the Shopping Centre. You'll have amazing views of the river and stadium from your room. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the towels are white and fluffy. The breakfast is self-service and you can request a decaffeinated coffee. The hotel also has parking available for residents.

The tourist information leaflets could be more visible and easily accessible for visitors.

The breakfast was very good. They serve hot chocolate, which is a nice touch since I don't drink tea or coffee. The iron in the room worked better than expected. The canteen staff were polite. Staff were brilliant, warm, and welcoming. The hotel was properly clean, not just a quick wipe down. The bar area was very comfortable and inviting. The location was close to Bute Park/Castle/river, and a short walk to fabulous restaurants, bars, and shops. The reception staff were very welcoming.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was genuinely excellent, being really close to the city center. It was directly opposite Bute Park, which was perfect for a stroll, and just minutes away from Cardiff Castle, the stadium. I was able to easily visit the shops, attend the RHS Flower Show, and visit friends without any hassle. The hotel was right next to the Castle and close enough to everything that I could reach the shops and bars within a few minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist and the blonde lady in the restaurant. They made sure that I had everything I needed and even provided a welcome drink. The room was extremely clean and tidy, and the hotel regularly checked in to ensure my stay was comfortable. They provided clean towels every day and essential toiletries. I felt truly pampered and well taken care of during my stay.

I highly recommend this place to friends. Everything from the location to the service to the room amenities was top-notch.

Had a great Xmas at this hotel! The location was awesome, right next to the stadium and across from the castle. It made exploring the city so easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was really delicious and had a good variety of options.

That there was no free wifi available. The cost for wifi was quite expensive, and the free wifi in the reception area was too slow to use.

Great location in the heart of the city, with easy access to attractions such as the castle, museum, and stadium. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing detailed information before our arrival and handling a room delay situation well. The rooms were spacious, clean, and offered fantastic views of either the castle or the stadium and river. Plus, the on-site parking was reasonably priced, making it convenient for us to explore the city without worrying about our car.

While the overall experience was positive, there were a few drawbacks. the evening meal at the hotel was expensive, but fortunately, there were plenty of affordable dining options nearby.

My recent stay at Holiday Inn Cardiff City was a pleasant one. The location was perfect, and despite being near the Millenium Stadium, the noise was minimal. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The breakfast provided a great selection of fresh fruit and a delicious cooked breakfast, exactly what I needed to start the day. The spacious and comfortable room ensured a good night's sleep, even on a busy Saturday night. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed with the prime location. The castle is just across the road and the stadium is within walking distance. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. The room was well-equipped, with amenities such as tea and coffee facilities, a mini-bar, and air conditioning. The restaurant manager was brilliant and the welcome drink was a nice touch.
