The hotel's location is ideal as it is close to the main theatres in the city centre and right next to a bus stop that takes you back into the main part of the city. There are no issues with buses to and from the city centre, as they run frequently. The room was comfortable and clean with a fantastic view overlooking the old town. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, and the breakfast had a good variety.

The hotel bar could use some improvement in their organization and service.

The views from the room were absolutely stunning, with a clear sight of the castle and the estuary. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities like tea and coffee. the hotel's ample car parking spaces and convenient location on the main bus routes into the city made it easy to explore Edinburgh without any hassle.

One minor issue was that the room was quite cold upon arrival, taking some time to warm up. the lack of heating or a fan in the en suite was a drawback, despite its spaciousness.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Holiday Inn Express City West. The location was perfect for our family with shops, woods, and a park just a short walk away. The hotel had a small playground for the kids and plenty of parking spaces. The 'grab and go' breakfast exceeded our expectations with a wide selection. The view from our room on the top floor was amazing and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent housekeeping service, providing freshly stocked toiletries and coffee. Pleasant bar with friendly staff. a good choice for travelers.
