We were pleasantly surprised by the great value and excellent location of Holiday Inn Express in Edinburgh. The hotel was just a block away from the Royal Mile, making it convenient to explore the city on foot. Despite the small room, it was clean and the free Wi-Fi was a plus. The complimentary breakfast saved us a lot of money, especially considering the high cost of dining in Edinburgh. we had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short walk away from Waverley railway station and the iconic Royal Mile. On the right side, there are shorter paths with steep stony steps, offering scenic surroundings. In terms of room and service, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet had a reasonable selection of food, and the hotel provided the facility to securely store luggage. It's a perfect base for sightseeing and exploring the city's attractions.

As those taking off early, the hotel's location just 1,000 ft. from the Royal Mile was perfect. The staff, particularly Albert and Patricia at the front desk, were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and a factor in choosing this hotel again. The rooms were modern and had good Wi-Fi and a good selection of TV programs.
