Conveniently located for the Harry Potter tour bus and close to Watford Junction train station. Friendly and helpful staff. the window closed out most of the noise from the train station. Loved the net curtains for extra privacy. the bathroom layout was practical and great for families. Unfortunately, I missed breakfast, but I heard it was meant to be excellent.

The layout of the hallway was confusing and the hotel entrance was not well signposted from the main road. the key card had issues with both the lift and the bedroom door, which required multiple trips to reception to fix.

The room was clean and the size was good, providing a comfortable stay. We also appreciated that there wasn't too much noise from the nearby train line, allowing for a decent night's sleep. the staff were generally helpful and accommodating.

the breakfast left much to be desired. There were occasions when they ran out of items like croissants and muffins, and the orange/apple dispenser was broken, with no replacement drink available for children until we specifically asked for water.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was kept clean. the location was perfect for my needs, with easy access to public transportation and close proximity to the city center. the rooms were spotless and the bathroom and shower area were well-maintained with no issues. the basic breakfast provided enough choices for everyone.

The air conditioning in both rooms I stayed in was not functioning properly. the first room had no air conditioning at all, and the second room could only cool down to a temperature of 21.5 degrees, which was too warm for my son.

Easy access to Watford Junction station, on-site parking for a small fee, accommodating staff, quiet and clean rooms, good breakfast options, and enjoyable lunch menu.

Holiday Inn Express was the room we needed for our family trip. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable and the staff had the sofa bed ready for us when we arrived. The room was simple but clean with everything working fine. The buffet breakfast got us started in the morning and the staff even let us take some croissants and fruit for our early tour. the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're visiting the Harry Potter Studio Tour, consider Holiday Inn Express for your stay. I would recommend this hotel.

You can easily hop on a bus to visit Harry Potter World, which is just a few minutes' walk away. Plus, the hotel is located next to the rail line, providing a unique view for train enthusiasts.

The parking situation at this hotel can be quite challenging, with small spaces and limited availability.
