We got great value for our money at Holly Lodge. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was beautiful, surrounded by peaceful countryside. The staff treated us warmly and even offered us a drink while our room was being prepared.

Food for breakfast could be improved with the addition of a small table and chair in the room.

The room was quiet and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surroundings. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

The bar area could have been cleaner, with dirty cups and mould inside.

The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside and offering a peaceful and romantic atmosphere for our escape. We were pleasantly surprised to find that despite feeling like we were in the middle of nowhere, there were actually convenience stores and pubs just a few minutes away, which was really convenient. The room itself was clean and had a lovely cottage feel, and we appreciated the abundance of tea and coffee provided. Plus, the bar area with the dart board added a fun and enjoyable touch to our stay.

There were a few downsides to our experience. the lack of windows in our room made it quite warm, even with the fan.
