Great location near main attractions and close to public transportation. the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Megan and Camilla who provided excellent service during our meals. the rooms were clean and tidy, ensuring a quiet night's sleep for a budget hotel.

The hotel was in desperate need of renovations, with tired and tatty fixtures. the WiFi was poor, the room decor was tired, and the breakfast was not worth the money.

The receptionist at Holmfield Arms was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our check-in process a breeze. The grounds of the hotel were well-maintained and provided a pleasant atmosphere. We were relieved to have parking available for our convenience.

The location of the hotel was ideal, nestled in a peaceful park with plenty of recreational activities nearby. Although not in the city center, the pub attached to the hotel made up for it, offering a cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a nice view overlooking the park. The breakfast menu was varied and reasonably priced, catering to different preferences. the hotel had ample parking and a play area for children in the pub garden.

There were some issues with room cleanliness, such as rust in the bath and cracked tiles, which made the stay less enjoyable.

The location of this hotel was great, situated in a beautiful country park. the room I stayed in was clean and similar to what you'd find in a budget chain hotel. the on-site pub restaurant offered good food and had a nice atmosphere.

the catering was well below expectations, with poor quality refreshments and lukewarm water for hot drinks. the breakfast setup was also disappointing, with no fresh fruit available and lukewarm water for tea.

Helpful and friendly receptionist, beautiful grounds, convenient location for city centre, recently refurbished bright and airy rooms with good heating, comfortable king-size bed.

For the price we paid, we were pleasantly surprised by the clean and spacious room, as well as the delicious and affordable breakfast served at the pub next door. The hotel's location on the edge of the park made it wonderfully quiet, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The location of the hotel was ideal for our visit to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. We loved how close it was to the park, making it convenient for us to explore. having a lovely pub right next to the hotel was a bonus, as we enjoyed grabbing a drink or two there in the evening. Despite the noise from the bar restaurant, our room was comfortable and clean, providing us with a relaxing stay. The breakfasts served in the pub were delightful, with plenty of options to choose from.

There was a lack of communication regarding the queues at the bar, which caused some inconvenience and a delay in getting served.

my stay at the inn was lovely, exceeding my previous experience in wakefield. the location in the national park was peaceful, surrounded by greenery and birdsong. the staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the value for the price paid was decent.
