The staff were incredibly friendly, striving to ensure a pleasant stay. The grounds were stunning, complete with a lovely terrace. The dinner, particularly the lamb shank, was delicious and great value. a unique and artistic hotel with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

The staff at Hook House were friendly and provided great advice on local places to eat. The room, especially the four-poster bed, was comfortable and clean. The accommodation had a lovely sitting area in front of the TV and offered great views. The location was convenient, close to shops and the countryside. The private parking area was a good size. The Georgian house had been renovated to keep its period charm. The sitting-eating room was large and airy, with a real log fire. The owner was hospitable and the atmosphere was friendly without being pretentious. The hot water was hot, the windows opened, and the towels were fluffy. The room had tea, coffee, biscuits, and a kettle. The breakfast buffet had a tasty variety, including cereals, creamy yogurt, hot drinks, water, fruit juices.

The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, offering a delicious English breakfast with good coffee and toast.

We arrived at this hidden gem of a country house hotel and were greeted by a stunning setting. the hotel was incredibly peaceful as we were the only guests that evening, making us feel like the Lord and Lady of the manor. Our room had a lovely view of the garden and boasted a comfortable king size bed and soft towels. the breakfast was absolutely scrumptious and our dog was warmly welcomed, having a great time running around in the gardens. the hosts were fantastic and even offered us a delightful picnic and pizza in the garden. We highly recommend this place and wish the owners every success in the future.
